Our cycle paths

Merzig is an excellent starting point for extended cycling tours – for example, around the Saar Loop, from the Saar to the Nahe, to the Moselle or along the varied routes of the Viezstraße. The really exciting thing is the landscape, which has a very high proportion of contiguous forests compared to the rest of Germany.
